Oh Sharon,
This kitten is even more beautiful and precious than I ever imagined. The markings on her face, and her gorgeous eyes are just stunning. And, just like you said, she's very sweet - and curious and funny.
And, Harold - THANK YOU SO MUCH for bringing her safely to Pittsburgh.
I was surprised by my Alex's reaction. Miraculously, she had no clue why we were at the airport. (I still don't know how I pulled that off, but I must admit, I'm glad it's over because it was hard living "in secret.") I thought Alex would scream when she saw the kitten. But, as I'm sure Harold told you, she stood there, stunned, and then these huge tears started streaming down her face. "Now I have a kitten," she said, softly. "Now I have a kitten to love. Thank you Mommy. Thank you Mommy."
"Sasha," the name Alex chose is settling in nicely. She loves to cuddle in our arms and purr and purr. Now, she is sound asleep in her little bed, for, she surely has had a big day.
We will keep you posted on the progress of our baby.

I meant to write you earlier. little red is settling in beautifully. We just love him. He has the greatest personality...so loving and friendly and cuddly. All the boys are in love with him and so am I. I'm sorry to say that he still doesn't have a permanent name, but Christopher just got back today and officially the kitten is his. Thank you, Cathy Siberian, Aug 2009
She has been an absolute joy; into everything but so friendly to everyone!! She uses her cat box each and every time she needs it, and is eating and drinking often. She seems to be very comfortable in the room we keep her in when we aren’t home to keep an eye on her. She gives kisses on the nose, plays often with the white boa toy you gave us (again, thank you!), and has even started using the scratching post we bought for her. (Jim found her sitting on the 4 inch diameter top of it, all 4 paws dug into the rope, and the catnip toy innocently held in her mouth. How adorable is that!!) Best of all she snuggles in to nap with anyone who happens to be available. I think this is the first kitten we’ve ever had that has been so well socialized! Thanks to all of you (including Katrina!!) for blessing us with such a gift.
And…my son says he’s had no increased allergy issues since we brought her home. With many, many, thanks and kindest regards, Jill Siberian, Brown Classic Tabby Oct 2008
Hi Sharon and Harold,
I hope all is well with both of you and all of your BEAUTIFUL cats!!! I just had to let you know once again how THRILLED we both are to have Esther and Pixie in our home. I recall you telling us Pixie could be a bit shy at first. I have to tell you she was, but now she is actually the ruler of the roost so to speak. She is tiny (compared to Esther who is lean, muscular, longer and taller) but if she even gives Esther "the look" Esther backs off. Esther loves to literally nip at the heels/feet of our other two cats but doesn't mess with her Momma. Pixie is so SWEET!!. She sleeps with us every night and will actually get up from wherever she may be and follow us into the bedroom. She gets along well with the other cats, Esther and Caleb, our dog. She is so affectionate and purrs daily during her head/neck scratches. She loves to be held and cuddled. Esther on the other hand, is not one for being held. She loves to be on laps, petted, talked to and has to be right there in the mix of everything...which couldn't make us happier!!!
Esther and Pixie both love to sit on the kitchen counters and "help" whenever possible. They are so well behaved and never try to grab food. Esther wears us out playing "fetch" and loves toys in general. Caleb won't even fetch!! Both Esther and Pixie (but not at the same time) love to sleep in Caleb's bed as well as in any of the other six or so cat beds throughout the house, and of course the "people" bed--but only when there is a person sleeping in it!
We want you to know that we couldn't be more grateful to both of you for allowing us such an opportunity. I think we are almost "boring" to our friends because all we ever seem to be able/willing to talk about are "The Sings" as we affectionately refer to them. We always have at least a dozen adorable Sing stories to share at any given time. At least we never bore each other with, "Oh my gosh, you won't believe what adorable thing Esther (or Pixie) did today..." stories. We hope to always have Sings in our lives from here on out. I honestly couldn't even imagine living without at least one!!! We definitely will be adding to the mix as our older ones pass on. Just out of curiosity, is the waiting list for Singapuras long?
Again we hope you are both doing well!!
Sincerely, Juanita and Steve They have 2 Singapuras and will have 3 soon, Dec 2009
